Hello fellow readers.

My name is Raphael, I was born in Curitiba, PR – Brazil back in December 24th 1982.

I lived in the USA twice (1999-2000 and 2003-2004), that’s where I learned to speak English.

My bachelor degree in computer analysis was earned in 2006 at PUC-PR one of the largest catholic universities of Brazil.

I’m really into high tech stuff and most of the time and early adopter of new gadgets.

The main idea of this blog is to share information about how we live down here in Brazil.

Azul Airlines of Brazil

The new airline, Azul, has begun selling tickets via the internet; however, flights will not begin until January . This is the low-cost airline started by the founder of JetBlue in the USA.

18 Feb 09, it will have flights from São Paulo-Campinas (VCP) to:

- Curitiba

- Manaus (new Apr 09)

- Porto Alegre

- Salvador

- Recife

- Vitoria

TRAVEL BRAZIL-TRAIN: Serra Verde – Curitiba to Paranguá

A tourist train located in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná. Runs from Curitiba (a very nice city) in the mountain region to the coastal town of Paranguá. A spectacular trip as the train clings to the sides of the mountains as it descends. Serra Verde means the Green Mountain range.
