It doesn’t sound so bad, it is sold for 850 dollars here in the US.
I wonder how much it costs in Europe, Asia or other American countries…maybe not much less than 1600 for an Ipad.
Everything is cheaper in the US. I remember angry french complaining about their Made in France cosmetics costing 1/3 less in the US.
I know of friends in New Zealand complaining about the cost of everything from cars to refrigerators, everything is imported and super expensive.
I was recently in Toronto, at Sears, and couldn’t believe the price of shoes, belts, clothes and other necessities, absurdly high comparing to prices in the US.
Long story short, things cost way more anywhere else, but in the US, I guess the question should be how the US manages to keep prices so low and most other countries don’t?

According to this article, It’s not just a problem of price variation between the US and Brazil, but between Brazil and any other “american” country.
