I’ve played golf a few times, but I am not a ‘golfer’.
Here in Goiânia, a closed, horizontal condominium with a golf course was started about two years ago, but I think it has stalled. The web site (link below) is incomplete indicating that the project is not moving forward at this time.
Golf in Brazil is a game of the well-to-do. To my knowledge there are no public courses; only clubs and resorts.
Tennis is the sport of the upper class, but golf would fit in quite well here with those with money.
UPDATE:
Was told today that a company out of São Paulo has bought the condominium project and is in the process of buying out shareholders. The projected will be relaunched; bigger and better.
